Results: 6th Aurora Surfing Challenge

The session at the beach break, right in front of Bay’s Inn was really steady. No hassle, no fuss. All the peaks were breaking and we were able to spread out instead of crowd in. Nothing too big but definitely not small. And, a rare thing for Baler, not that windy either.

Today's Surf Photo: Low Tide
Dead low tide at Cloud 9 means low tide. It’s not a joke.
I shot this during the 2008 Cloud 9 International and, if I remember correctly, the boys standing at the edge of the reef were waiting for the heat in progress to end so they could get their comp rashies. The dude in green on the left was a press photographer.
Color is a bit washed out. Sorry.
